Dr told me I was only measuring at 5 weeks 2 days but they couldn't tell if the baby was alive since it was too early to see the heartbeat with ultra sound.
Turns out the baby stopped developing at around 5 weeks.
Six weeks is when you can see the baby (transvaginally).
Usually as soon as you see the baby you see the heart beat. And even if your lmp says you are six weeks and there is no baby yet....
Your ultrasound scan will be carried out by one of our highly qualified professionals in a caring and comfortable environment. Two days after the ultratsound i started spotting spotting. a few days later and they did a ultrasound and found the baby with a heart beat. So i guess my calculations were wrong and i was early than i thought during the previous scan and thats why they couldnt see the baby.I would not worry, it is way to early and Im sure your baby will be there heart beating and all at your next scan.I also had a previous miscarriage so i know how scary this is.Good Luck I just had the same thing happen to me today.
